Kick London’s academies are football sessions run each weekend or weekday evening, for local young people wanting to get involved in football and sport in a safe, positive and encouraging environment.

They are run in partnership with local churches who wish to provide activities for the local community.  They provide an excellent opportunity for everyone to engage with a local church a way that does not involve a traditional church building.

Led by FA qualified and Christian coaches, academies are relaxed and fun for young people between the age of 7 and 16 years - each academy will ensure that young people are playing with young people of a similar age and ability.

Each session focuses on a football skill, a related life skill and a short talk based on the Bible.

The ethos of Kick London means that academies are available to all young people, irrespective of sporting ability.  It is about the taking part and fulfilling personal potential and not elitism in sport.  Each session focuses on a life skill such as team work, anger management and personal goals – recognising that this skills are needed on and off the football pitch.

If you, your child, or somebody you know has participated in Kick London activities at school then why not look to see if there is an academy in your local area to attend at weekends. You and they won't regret it!
