Nathan French

Kick London (Richmond)

Nathan is a big Ipswich Town fan, who loves watching and taking part in lots of sports. He was born in sunny Ipswich (tractor boys) in 1986 and until recently had spent all his life in Ipswich. As a youngster he played for the Martlesham youth teams with his biggest achievement coming as a player in the County Cups Tournament. As a result Nathan got spotted by an Ipswich Town scout and went on to join the Academy. Due to unfortunate circumstances he had to end his contract with the Ipswich academy and his career in playing football. Through God’s healing and answers to prayer, Nathan started playing football again for a local team and regained full fitness to enable him to play semi-pro.

In November 2006 Nathan went off travelling round Australia and New Zealand. When he got back from his adventure, he worked as volunteer youth and kids worker for a Christian charity, which he really enjoyed but felt God was calling him to work in sports ministry!

Always having a great passion for football and for helping others to develop their football skills, Nathan has achieved his FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football and is training for his Level 3 (UEFA B) qualification.

Nathan really enjoys working with young people and wants to build on his coaching skills. He knows football ministry is where God wants him, so when the opportunity to work for Kick came along Nathan took the opportunity. He is excited about seeing God’s work through the love of football in and around the Richmond area.
